Relief
operations were initiated Sunday evening and the vessel sailed Wednesday
morning. The relief goods were sent to
Norwegian Training Center Manila; which served as drop off point for donations.
Time is essential thus 24-hour continuous loading to KFO has helped a lot to
meet the departure schedule.

The spirit of volunteerism is alive! |
The operation
would not be possible without the donors, cadets from the Norwegian Shipowners
Association (NSA) , AMOSUP as owner of the vessel, the vessel's crew, the
organization “Making Change” and lastly the valuable help from Congressman
Jesulito Manalo (ANGKLA) with his direct link and very good cooperation with
DOTC & DILG.

This was a
well-coordinated operation with all relevant government agencies – from top to
bottom and we are glad we could help in these tragic circumstances.
