NTC-M's NEW HR MANAGER



 
January  6, 2013 - Mr. Rene Leoncito joins the NTC-M Family as the new HR & Admin Manager. HR which was previously under one department; Finance and Admin was split into two  in preparations for the implementation of NTC-M 2015 project. 

  Mr. Rene V. Leoncito carries with him twenty-five (25) years of hands on Human Resource Management experience in the fields of manufacturing, investments, property development and services organizations.

  He was  previously  the Manager - Human Resource and Administration of Toyo Ink  Compounds Corporation, an ISO certified Japanese company engaged in the manufacture of plastic colorants, compounds, pellets for industrial use and medical apparatus.

    He was the first Filipino HR Manager of Enkei Philippines to participate in the Enkei Asian Kaizen Competition held in Thailand in Dec. 2004 “Broad bond, a competency based reward system”. He represented Enkei Philippines in the Enkei Global HR Strategies and Approaches  held in Japan. 

  He was Internal Quality Systems Auditor for automotive industry (ISO-TS 16949) in Enkei Philippines; Internal Quality Management System Auditor (ISO 9000-2008) in  Steel Corporation of the Philippines and Toyo Ink. Compounds Corporation.      
        
  He was the 5S Chairman of Toyo Ink Compounds Corporation & Steel Corporation of the Philippines; active member of HR Management Association of Canlubang and PMAP CALABARZON

ONE-ON-ONE WITH MR. LEONCITO.

    Mr. Leoncito who displays a  pro-people attitude  believes that human is the best resources.  He stated that man programs the machine but it's never the machine that programs a man. 

     His plans include establishment of career path to put in place a succession pattern, improve the system of trust management and ascertain a performance management system for the organization. 

     When asked about his opinion on mix of employees at NTC-M, he stressed the importance of combination of youth and experienced for it will provide balance and guidance on running the company. The experienced always serve as guide, their wisdom is vital  while the youth's fresh ideas are imperative in creating balance and improvement in the workplace.

      As an advocate of trust management, he says, "If you trust people, there will be no fear that they cannot perform their duties and there will be no gap which could hindrance development ". Lastly he distinguished that his leadership is based on trust and transparency.
