NMFPI TIES UP WITH THE ROTARY CLUB OF STA ROSA CENTRO

The Norwegian Maritime Foundation of the Philippines represented by Mr. George Meljoe Frange and the Rotary Club of Sta. Rosa Centro represented by its President and current City Mayor, Ms. Arlene Arcillas entered into MOU to support, promote and organize collaborative career campaign of the NSA Philippines Cadet Program on Nov. 8, 2014 at Seda Hotel Nuvali Sta Rosa Laguna. 

The city government and Rotary Club of Sta Rosa Centro adopted the cadet program as part of their project on building a stronger community through education.  As part of the MOU, Rotary will link up with schools, coordinate and arrange interested candidates for examination. 

Initial career campaign drive was conducted in November 8 and 10 with 7 national high schools visited. First schedule is set on Nov. 30 which 200 examinees are expected. The rotary has arranged venue and food for all the examinees.  

The NSA Cadet Program is now in synergy with Sta Rosa's information and support drive for social and educational interest. 

The rotary is further studying additional support that they may grant to selected NSA Scholars.
