New Project Manager
Larry used to be the Training and Development Officer for NSA Philippines Cadet Program for 4 years before his promotion to Project Manager.
His top priorities includes continuation of quality maritime education for the cadets making them more ready for real work battles before turn-over to their respective companies.
Together with the group he will continue the constructive alignment of curriculum, which he considers his baby project when he was the Training & Development Officer. This means delivery of intended outcome of the courses with the right program and right personnel across all schools where NSA cadets are enrolled.
When asked of his high hopes for the NSA Cadet program, he envisions it to be an officership program; making the cadets fully ready for the industry before the turn over. This includes passing the maritime board exams after graduation unlike in the present set-up where they are endorsed to their companies soon after graduation.
On leadership style, he doesn't have someone in particular whom he considers his icon though his guiding light is always " be fair to everyone ".
