NSA Receives Recognition on FAME's 40th Anniversary

The Filipino Association for Mariners' Employment, Inc. (FAME) celebrated the most anticipated 40th Anniversary Culminating Event at the Pandango and Polkabal Ballroom of Manila Hotel on March 19, 2015. 

The event is highly attended and supported by FAME's notable members, industry partners, government agencies, maritime unions and associations, foreign shipowners and the pillars of the maritime industry. 

FAME gladly celebrated its four decades of manning the world's merchant fleet by giving recognition to its regular members who have been with FAME through triumphs and hardship the association had been through. Long serving officers and directors were also recognized and waved proud of their service for the organization. 

The Norwegian Shipowners' Association (NSA ) was also recognized for its valuable partnership, support and contributions in achieving the organization's goals in sustaining the growth of the Philippines seafaring and maritime industry. 


Capt. Rex Recomite, NTC-M's Training Manager, accepted the award on behalf of the Norwegian Shipowners' Association.
