Last day of Basic VHF Radio Course

The course generally covers the theories and procedures of using basic VHF radio equipment for transmitting and receiving calls, messages, and information via radiotelephony, including Digital Selective Calling (DSC) system.

Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to gain the knowledge & ability to effectively transmit / receive voice and data radio communications by all radio sub-systems used onboard & offshore and inter-ship communications in accordance with international regulations and procedures.
