This 1-day course provides practical training on the use of very high water pressure to prepare metal surfaces for the application of protective coatings for corrosion prevention purposes. The training covers technical lessons on obtaining & recording environment conditions; standards for surface cleanliness; and safe operation & proper handling of hydro blasting equipment & accessories. The hands-on instructions and practicum mainly deal with actual hydro blasting of metal surfaces in accordance to SSPC (The Society for Protective Coatings) standards.
